Tue 24th March CV19 Update

In these difficult and unprecedented times it seems that requirements and plans change almost daily.

We at BS Initiative are no different and the Coronavirus crisis is having a significant impact on the company and our staff.  Despite the challenges we remain open for business for whatever we are able to do in accordance with the governments directives.  We have taken steps to secure the future of the business and commence providing services once more to our valued clients after the crisis has eased and during these difficult times where possible.

We have many challenges ahead and ultimately we may not be able to travel to site however Oliver and I are happy undertake inspections where it is deemed safe to do and compliant with current government directives.  Obviously, we need to minimise contact with others and practice social distancing but we will continue to use our best endeavours to assist all our clients, old and new, with their building surveying requirements.

All staff continue to work although mostly from home.  Where we are able to provide services without site inspections we are happy to do so.  We regret that building surveyors have to travel as buildings cannot come to us.  We have long thought however that with improvements in video technology and the internet that virtual building surveys and defect diagnosis inspections could perhaps be carried out without surveyors leaving home.  Whilst this may not be entirely realistic in practice perhaps it is time to trail such opportunities.

If we can be of any assistance in the coming weeks or even if it is just an email to keep in touch we look forward to hearing from you.

Stay well.

All at BS Initiative Ltd.
